Cleaning HacksHitting the Road

Sure, we can get your vehicle fresh and clean before you head out. Having a freshly detailed car is a great thing. But, after a few days, your car can start getting pretty funky. There’s going to be trash, drink cups, fast food packages and probably a few other things too. Here’s some great way to keep your vehicle clean and organized while you’re on vacation.

Cleaning HacksPlastic Grocery Bags

We all have a ton of those plastic grocery bags, right? They are perfect for use in the car! If you have an old tissue box, you can stuff a bunch of those plastic grocery bags into it. The bags stay together and the box doesn’t take up a bunch of room. Pull one out at a time when you need to collect the trash.

Cleaning HacksWhen You Stop

One good habit to get into is cleaning out the trash when you make a stop. This is must do among cleaning hacks. Gas stations usually have large trash cans near the gas pumps. Take a few moments to collect the loose trash and dump it before you get back on the road. Don’t forget to use the windshield washer squeegee when you stop. Give your windshield and rear window a good once over. You’ll be glad you did.

Cleaning HacksKeep Food Away

One of the best ways to avoid spills and stains is to NOT eat in your vehicle. Now, we know when you’re on a schedule, stopping to eat somewhere might not be possible. If you do have to eat in your car, please be careful, first of all. Keep napkins handy and use to-go cups or bottles with screw-top lids. Avoid fast-food cup with flimsy lids. Honestly though, make a stop for food, walk around and stretch your legs if you can. Your body will thank you for it later.
